Ms. Annie Wong

After 18 years of running my own business, I joined Arbele in April 2019 and have witnessed the continuous growth of the company from finance to science. The work environment is warm and fantastic like family helping and supporting each other. Most important is having fun, working hard, and enjoying the "fruits" of innovation.

In the past three years working in Arbele, I witnessed the company grew from a fledging start-up to a multi-national biotechnology pharmaceutical. I am grateful for the opportunity to work in this friendly and stimulating environment, and I have learnt a lot in the preparation of IND filing of our drug candidate. I am glad to be an integral part of the team to make things work from stretch.

After my doctoral study at The University of Hong Kong, I joined Arbele as a Postdoctoral Scientist to develop CAR-T/CAR-NK cell immunotherapy against gastrointestinal cancers. I am glad to be part of this leading biopharmaceutical company as I get the opportunity to build my career as a researcher with a wonderful teamwork experience. Most importantly, Arbele provides me with a well-established healthcare platform to transform my innovative laboratory research into potential human therapy.

After my PhD training in the University of Hong Kong, I joined Arbele in November 2022. Arbele is a young company full of ideas, energy, and opportunities. Arbele is a good place for you to turn knowledge acquired in university into hands-on experience. It offers you the opportunity to work on some state-of-the-art biotechnology e.g., CAR cell therapy, Octet and DELFIA. On the other hand, lab work doesn't always go as planned. Therefore, working in a laboratory setting can definitely train you to be mentally strong; always prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
